Fosber America manufacturers corrugated machinery and services for the North American marketplace. Fosber America is a solely owned subsidiary of Fosber of Lucca, Italy. Founded in 1978, Fosber began manufacturing stackers and conveyors for the European marketplace. The company s United States location is in Ashwaubenon, Wis., near Green Bay, Wis. In July 1988, Fosber America was founded in Green Bay, Wis. The first order received was in the summer of 1989, a slitter/scorer ordered by Acorn Box of Chicago. The company rapidly grew to become one of the key suppliers of slitter/scorers in North America. Late in 1991, the first complete Fosber product was installed at International Paper in Arden Hills, Minn. In the following years, Fosber grew to become the leading supplier of corrugated DryEnd machinery in North America. The company has maintained this market position ever since.
